LOVE BEGETS GRACE (2)

In the first few months joining this path, I felt frustrated as I’m not able to understand what is happening, what am I doing. Felt like even if I read the books recommended by Shree Guru, it was just information that my mind gathers which I tend to forget at times. Just reading but not really knowing or experiencing.

Shree Guru said my soul experiences them but my mind is block. It was my rational thinking trying to digest and rationalise everything that blocks my mind. So, I asked how can I unblock my mind. The answer was to simply have Shree Guru in my mind always. With great yearning, I started that then and how beautifully it went for love for Guru/God blossoms more and more. From this pure love of mine to the divine, I also want to spread the love in my heart to others. Just like that soul integration with this pure consciousness also automatically starts. Knowledge was also automatically downloaded into me. All with love and the grace of Shree Guru/the divine.

Love is said to be many things. Love is strength, Love is kindness, Love is compassion, Love is forgiveness, Love is sharing, Love is devotion. Love is even said to be a gateway to heaven… Love thus awakens many good attributes and a pure love to divine brings you closer to your being, your truth.

However, many things also said to be in the name of love – obsession, power, control, selfishness. These are not pure form of love though they sometimes make you feel like you are the only one that matters in the world to these people who express such love. You may feel loved but eventually suffocation comes. These are all disguise in the name of love only.

To love in its purest form is to love sincerely and unconditionally. To love sincerely by being there no matter what happens, no matter the circumstances and no matter what changes. It may sound like fool in love but is more actually like that love and pureness of a child’s love that melts you into love yourself. To love unconditionally is to love without expectation.

But how do we love sincerely and unconditionally? It seems like a strenuous effort on own. We like to give and receive back. If we give and not receive, we start thinking should we give next time.

All these happen as our mind forms a misconception that we are outsider to others. Automatic self-defence arises to only give out love when we receive. Selfish love arises to only do things for others if it benefits us.

So how can we rise up from these lowly thoughts?

It is only by seeing the world as not separated from yourself, to reflect every living being as part of yourself then one would learn to love unconditionally. Simply put, to put yourself in other people’s shoes. For the love towards Self is the ultimate love.
